Gruseldog Design will take the needed amount of time to work with you through personal, one-on-one communication in order
to create an individual website just for you!
Step 1. Initial interview to determine goals for your site.We begin by discussing the goals for your site, i.e. sell a product or service, provide ease for client ordering, advertisement, provide an updated data resource, cut down on the amount of time phone time, etc.
Step 2. Determine Content Management NeedsDetermine which site areas you'll need to keep up-to-date, and how often. A custom, secure, user friendly administration area will be developed so that you can access and change information in these areas. Gruseldog can also make changes for you, if interested, ask about our maintenance packages.
Step 3. Provide Fee ProposalBased on your needs, we can establish an estimate of cost and submit a proposal. We charge per page, which allows us the ability to maximize any budget. If you don’t already have a domain name registered, we can set it set up, and set up any email addresses you may need.
Step 4. Design PhaseOnce the proposal is approved, we began collecting data and graphics to start working on a sketch of your site. The data we collect usually includes, text, logo, forms, and photos. A popular design rule suggests a site visitor should be able to determine your purpose in less than four seconds. Graphics aid in associating these concepts. We will use stock, and personal, if requested, images and text to develop layouts for you to choose from. These are the base that we will work from to build your new layout. The layout sketch we create is a simple “picture” of what the site would look like. We are able to work back and forth, adjusting colors and such to ensure you are happy with the design. Once the sketch is approved, we will begin working on turning it into a site.
Step 5. Coding PhaseNow the fun design phase is over, and the coding beings. We will send you email notifications as areas of the site are completed. The construction time frame mostly depends on the amount of administration features you request. During the design and coding phases, you will still be using your old site, so you won’t have any down time. This private link allows you to explore the site and approve it before it is set live.
Step 6. Testing PhaseOnce the coding phase is finished, your site will still be on a private link. You are allowed to explore the site and it's features before it is set live. We understand that clients’ technical experience is often quite varied; thus, onsite training for you and your employees will be assessed and catered to your needs. We want to make sure you can make the most of everything your new site will have to offer.
Step 7. Launch New SiteWhen the new site is completed and approved, we will load it to your domain. This usually takes place very late at night when users are not likely to be affected by the changeover.
If future renovation is needed for your site, be assured we will be there to represent the most recent techniques for you as we are constantly evolving and improving.
To begin the job, we require a 1/3 deposit. After the layout milestone is passed, we will require another 1/3. Work will proceed, and when the site is completely launched, and approved, the final 1/3 comes due.
We are set up to take control of the project and run with it; although, we do require some interview time, approvals and comments during development to ensure a high-quality outcome.
